A health broadcasting network

Your own health channel.
Your name on it.

You spent a decade earning the right to be believed. Smith Health TV gives licensed professionals and health organizations a channel of their own — so your expertise reaches the people who need it, instead of getting buried between dance videos.

Every application is read by a person. Licensed professionals and health organizations only.

The problem

Being right isn't the hard part anymore.

Health information has never been more abundant, or harder to trust. The professionals best equipped to fix that are the ones with the least time and the fewest tools to do it.

You answer the same question every day

The pre-op explanation. The medication that everyone misunderstands. The thing patients always read wrong online. You have given that talk hundreds of times, one room at a time.

The platforms can't tell you apart

A feed ranks a board-certified specialist and an anonymous account with a ring light by exactly the same signal: whatever held attention longest. Your credentials count for nothing there.

Your best work has no home

It lives on someone else's platform, under someone else's rules, beside content you would never endorse — and the audience you built goes with them, not with you.

What you get

A channel, not a feed.

A feed is rented attention that resets every morning. A channel is a place your audience can return to, with your name over the door and your credentials on the wall.

  • Verified credential

Your credential and licensing state, checked by a person before your channel opens.

  • A library, not a feed

Episodes grouped into series that stay findable — not a timeline that buries last month's work.

  • Live and scheduled

Broadcast Q&As and scheduled programming, with everything archived to your library afterwards.

  • Your practice, attached

Your bio, your location, your booking link — the reason you made the video in the first place.

  • Disclosure, built in

Sponsorships and conflicts are declared on-screen by the platform, not buried in a description.

Who applies

Built for people who had to earn a licence.

The network is open to credentialed professionals and to the organizations that employ them. That boundary is the whole point.

Independent clinicians

Physicians, dentists, podiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists, psychologists, pharmacists, dietitians and licensed allied professionals.

A podiatrist runs a six-part series on diabetic foot care that their own patients watch before the first appointment.

Practices and clinics

Group practices, multi-site clinics and specialty centres that want one branded channel with every provider credited on their own work.

An orthopaedic group publishes recovery walkthroughs for each procedure, so post-op calls drop and expectations are set before surgery.

Health organizations

Hospitals, universities, professional associations, public-health bodies and nonprofits with a mandate to educate the public.

A nursing school publishes an open skills library its students and the wider community can both use.

How it works

Four steps, and a human at the second one.

There is no instant sign-up, and that is deliberate. A network is only as trustworthy as the least-checked person on it.

  1. 01

    You apply

    One form, about ten minutes.

  2. 02

    A person reviews it

    No automated screening.

  3. 03

    We set up your channel

    Branding, structure, and a walkthrough.

  4. 04

    You publish on your schedule

No quotas, no algorithm to feed.

Editorial standards

The standards are the product.

Anyone can host video. What a viewer cannot get anywhere else is confidence that the person on screen is who they claim to be, and is bound by rules if they aren't.

01

Licensed voices only

Every channel belongs to a credentialed professional or a health organization. We check the licence and the state before a channel opens, and we check again if something changes.

02

Education, never individual advice

Channels teach. They do not diagnose, prescribe, or answer 'what should I do about my symptom' for a named viewer. That line protects the professional as much as the audience.

03

Conflicts declared on screen

If a sponsor paid for it, or the presenter has a financial interest, the platform says so on the video itself — not in a description nobody expands.

04

No miracle cures

No unproven claims, no supplement multi-level marketing, no treatments sold on hope. A channel that breaks this is removed, not warned repeatedly.

What it takes

You don't need a studio.

The most common reason a clinician never starts is the belief that it requires production equipment and a marketing team. It requires neither.

You bring

  • Your expertise and your clinical judgement
  • What you want to teach, and to whom
  • A phone camera and a quiet room
  • Roughly an hour a week, if that

The network handles

  • Hosting, encoding and playback
  • Your branded channel page and series structure
  • Credential verification and the verified badge
  • Distribution across the network and search
  • Disclosure and disclaimer furniture on every video
  • Analytics on what your audience actually watches
Channel plans

Three ways onto the network.

One clinician, a whole practice, or an institution running several channels at once.

Practitioner

Independent licensed professionals

One clinician, one channel. For the physician, dentist, therapist or nurse practitioner who is tired of explaining the same thing forty times a week.

Where this is going

What's live, and what isn't.

You are being asked to join something early, so here is the honest state of it. Only the first item below exists today.

  1. Open now

    Applications and credential review

The application is live and every submission is read. Approved applicants join the founding group and are onboarded in waves.

  2. Next

    Founding channels go live

Branded channel pages, video libraries organised into series, verified credential badges, and the network directory.

  3. After that

    Live broadcasting and analytics

Scheduled live programming with archive-on-finish, plus audience analytics showing what viewers actually watch and where they stop.

  4. Later

    Underwriting and revenue share

Vetted health brands underwriting programming, with disclosure handled by the platform and a share of revenue going to the channels it runs against.

For health brands

Reach a health audience that actually trusts the presenter.

Underwriting on Smith Health TV runs against credentialed programming, with disclosure handled on-screen by the platform. Some categories are refused outright.
